The elusive Cousin Cuthbert, who may or may not have also been his legendary showbiz star Uncle Stan, appears and disappears throughout the life of jazz drummer Keith On the way, Keith encounters the denizens of the Australian bush and learns important life lessons from an unusually sagacious dog. Errol Flynn and Ernest Hemingway make cameo appearances; other episodes include a mysteriously shrinking performing rhinoceros, a pet Komodo dragon and a flying saucer cult. Tasmanian artist and musician Lindsay Arnold produced more than 250 illustrations to tell this weirdly offbeat tale.
