Austrian artist Ditz paints house pets and farm animals, often in sweet domestic settings or grouped together like the cats in Double Cat-Spread. Her distinctive style has evolved over time to include highly detailed, quirky, small-scale images painted in acrylic on board. Ditz has lived in England for nearly fifty years and has exhibited regularly at a range of galleries, including the Royal Academy and the Barbican, both in London, as well as civic museums and galleries in other cities in the United Kingdom and throughout Europe.
